The project “H2 Readiness of the TAG pipeline system”, a project of the Trans Austria Gasleitung (TAG), is a central part of the Austrian and European hydrogen offensive. The goal of the project is to enable the transport of hydrogen (H2) via the existing transport system of Trans Austria Gasleitung GmbH between the Italian-Austrian border (Arnoldstein) and the Austrian-Slovakian border (Baumgarten) by converting one of its pipelines. The project of the Trans Austria Gas Pipeline (TAG) thus makes a significant contribution to the future supply of the business locations Austria and Europe as well as to a sustainable, CO2-neutral energy future.
